The Dive Zone is the scuba diving club of Dive Source and is open to all divers be they new or experienced. 


We have planned local dives and events throughout the year as well as dive trips to far away locations. It is a great way to meet new dive buddies and gain experience under the supervision of our Dive Masters and Instructors who are there to help make you a better diver...and have some fun!

DIVE ZONE Membership Cost and Levels: 


DIVE ZONE Standard Membership is $49.99 and Includes:

  • Access to supervised free or low cost local shore dives and dive charters as well as trips to out of country locations.

  • Membership card with punch outs for 2 x free airfills, 1 x $25 off any course and  1 x 25% off Rental

  • Access to the Dive Zone Members Facebook group where you can chat/post to other Dive Zone members and plan dives yourself, ask questions etc..

  • Member only seminars, clinics and discounted pool nights

DIVE ZONE PLUS MEMBERSHIP is $99 and includes:

  • All Standard Dive Zone member benefits plus bigger discounts with the PLUS membership card.

  • PLUS Membership Card has punch outs for: 2 x free Airfills, 2 x 50% off Gear rental, 1 x $25 off any one day course and  1 x $50 off any 2 day course with Dive Source.(Books not included).

General Club Info:


Membership term - One Calender year running Jan. 1 - Dec. 31

 Club Management: The club is managed and ran by Dive Source with some volunteers from the club membership. Member input is encouraged and welcomed on dive locations, events and activities.

Communication:  Dive Zone dives and events are listed here on the Dive Club page of our website, posted in store and also communicated through the Dive Source email newsletter and the members only Dive Source Dive Zone Facebook group.

 How to join in on a dive: Dive Zone members simply contact the shop via email or phone and let us know ahead of time so we know your coming (RSVP is very important). For charter dives you do the same but also need to come in and pay for the charter or call in with a credit card. If you need rental gear you will need to come into the shop.

Dives that say "Advanced" require advanced open water certification.

Final Word About Dive Clubs:  As Dive Zone has grown, so has our membership with nearly 200 members in 2017 as well as merging with the Durham Divers scuba club. Diving with a club of experianced divers and Dive Masters on dives is a great way get more experiance.. if not Dive Zone, then find a club in your area that meets your needs and GO DIVE!
