The Dive Source - Dive Zone is our shops dive club for new and experienced divers looking to join in on entry, novice and advanced level local dives . It is a great way to meet new dive buddies and get experience under the supervision and guidance of our Dive Masters who are there to help make you a better diver.


Cost: Dive Zone Membership is only $49.99 per calendar year and your membership card comes with  over $100 in discount offers... Two free airfills plus 1 x 50% & 1 x 25% off rental gear offers

Communication:  Dive Zone dives and events are listed here on the Dive Club page of our website, posted in store and also communicated through the Dive Source email newsletter and the members only Dive Source Dive Zone Facebook group.


DIVE ZONE Member Benefits:


  • Free and low cost organized local shore dives, local boat dive charters that you can sign up for as well as trips to out of country locations.
  • Membership card with in store discounts (worth the membership price alone!)
  • Access to the Dive Zone Members Facebook group where you can chat/post to other Dive Zone members and plan dives yourself, ask questions etc.. (To join - search “Dive Source Dive Zone” on Facebook – then click “Join Group” – you will then be added by the admin if you are a paid member for this year)

How to join in on a dive: Dive Zone members simply contact the shop via email or phone and let us know ahead of time so we know your coming (RSVP is very important). For charter dives you do the same but also need to come in and pay for the charter or call in with a credit card. If you need rental gear you will need to come into the shop.

Next Steps: Along with diving more please consider increasing your knowledge through continuing dive education courses from Dive Source. These are offered through the shop and will occasionally be taking place alongside Dive Zone dives (i.e. drift diving class, night diving etc).

Dives that say "Advanced" require advanced open water certification.

Final Word About Dive Clubs:  As Dive Zone has grown, so has our membership with nearly 200 memebers in 2017 as well as merging with the Durham Divers scuba club. Diving with a club of experianced divers and Dive Masters on dives is a great way get more experiance.. if not Dive Zone, then find a club in your area that meets your needs and GO DIVE!
