Dive Source Refund, Purchase and Exchange  Policy

 

The following policies apply to all in store or online purchases:

Products:

  • In stock/ regular stock Items: Exchange only or credit note1 ONLY on any returned items that are in original packaging and new condition within two weeks of purchase or delivery to client if shipped. Shipping costs to or from the client are non refundable.
  • Gift Certificates: No Refunds - exchange for products or services only.
  • Special order, custom fit or clearance items: NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE

Services:

  • No refund or exchange on service and repair work once performed.

Courses, Dives & Training:

The following policy applies to ALL courses, classes, open water checkout dives, seminars, events and dive charters.

Conditions:

  • Students who wish to drop out of a Course, Event or Charter Dive they have signed up for must give a minimum of 2 weeks notice and return all unused course materials to receive a refund (less a $50 admin fee on classes/courses)
  • Students who cancel or drop out of a scheduled course with less than two weeks notice will not receive any refund, unless due to a medical reason and a doctors note is provided.The doctor’s note must clearly state that they are not able to scuba dive due to health reasons and they will receive a refund less the $50 admin fee.
  • Students who miss a class need to contact the shop to see if they can be caught up with their class and to make arrangements for private tutoring and instruction. Cost for this varies by program.
  • Open Water testing - Students who choose not to continue with Open water testing will not receive a refund of their Open water fee.
  • Students who fail to show up for a class/course will receive no credit or refund for the program, consider it forfeited and will be billed for the entire course fee.
  • Students who fail to show up, cancel or forfeit their space and wish to take the course at a later date may do so but are still responsible for paying for the course they failed to attend.
  • Any course cancelled by Dive Source will result in a 100% refund or credit to the student with no admin fee (customers choice)
  • PADI eLearning Courses - No refund or exchange once the course is purchased from Dive Source or on the PADI eLearning website

 

1 CREDIT NOTE POLICY: Credit notes are not transferable and are valid for 6 months from the time of issue at which time they expire and will be removed from our system - NO EXCEPTIONS
