Discover Scuba Diving with your Scouting Troop!

Dive Source Scuba in Oshawa is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center and your official partner in the SCOUTS Canada SCUBA Program http://www.scouts.ca/ca/scouts-canada-scuba

Our Discover Scuba Diving Class allows Scout Leaders the opportunity to build Scuba Diving into their Scout, Venturer Scout & Rover Scout programs.  Participants will enjoy an introductory scuba lesson in a pool environment, under the supervision of a certified PADI Instructor.  After completion, each participant will have had a great new life experience and have met the requirements for the SCUBA Troop Specialty Badge. and may also receive the Scouting swim badge as there is a swim component that meets tthe badge requirements.

Cost:

$79.99 + hst per person with a minimum of 8 participants 

• Participants can include: Members of your troop or combined troops, as well as Scout Leaders, Family & Friends. **minimum age is 11yrs old to participate**

 What's Included:

• PADI DISCOVER SCUBA Diving Work book (One per participant)
  
  
• Diving presentation and review of the workbook will take place at Dive Source, approx 2 weeks before your event
  
  
• 2 hours of pool time per group and use of all scuba and snorkeling equipment.
  
  
• Pool time: Which we typically have available times on a Sat or Sun or occasionally on a weeknight

 - IMPORTANT: Each participant and/or their parent/legal guardian must read, review and sign the registration forms and medical questionnaire. Participants with medical issues on the form will require a doctors note to participate and any costs associated with that are the responsibility of the participant.
