Misc Information / FAQ's:
Do You need a Camera? - Yes.. Still cameras are still prefered over Go Pro's unless the go pro or other action cam has a video screen back. However be aware they are better as Video devices than still image cameras, which give you more creative control.
Camera Rental - Dive Source has Cameras available for rental and student buddy pairs may share a single camera but it is best for each person to have there own.
Strobes/ UW flashes/Video light - Strobes and Video Lights are a great accessory and do improve underwater photos greatly, however they are not manditory for the class.
Buying a Camera - If you are considering buying and underwater camera or are thinking of purchasing a housing or strobe Dive Source has considerable knowledge in this area so come see us. Check out the photography section of our website
Do you need Level One and Level Two? - How far you go is up to you. There are two levels as it allows both snorkelers and divers to gain skills with an experianced instructor/UW photographer and then optionally go deeper into the skills in open water conditions in Level 2
Level 1 also allows us to offer the course in the winter months as it is pool based.
