The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course, and it’s easy to see why. Scuba diving with Enriched Air Nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives.
PLUS YOU CAN DO 90% of it ONLINE with eLEARNING
*The price for all elearning courses is determined by PADI. You may buy it and complete the online portion at your own pace, but be aware it is NOT REFUNDABLE and that the final practical session with Dive Source must be completed with us to receive the certification and we do that based on finding a mutually agreeable time and that covid safety protocols will be in place.

Is one Nitrox course better than the other?: Both cover all the same material but in different ways. If you are someone who likes a classroom environment and the close interaction/support of an instructor, then choose a classroom based course. If you are comfortable with self study and minimal interaction, then the online course might be perfect for you, especially if you have a busy schedule.
What certification level do I need to take this course? You only need an Open Water certification or be a student in an open water scuba diver program. (OW students will complete their certification after their open water dives are completed)
Is there a open water/ pool session?: No, this course is typically done as classroom only. However if the student wish to finish with open water dives on Nitrox with an instructor, that can be arranged at an additional cost.
What do I do with the Enriched Air Diver Manual?: Student in the classroom based course use read the entire manual and complete all the knowledge reviews prior to the class. eLearning students do not receive a paper manual as it is online.
What do I need for Gear?: It is only a classroom course. If you own a dive computer, please bring it and the owners manual with you so you can learn how to program nitrox mixtures into it. Be aware that you need to understand your computer and that you instructor can only assist you as all dive computers are different in their operation.
What are the recommended equipment accessories? Many nitrox divers purchase their own Oxygen analyzers and will have their scuba tanks Oxygen cleaned and labelled for nitrox use
Does the course have maximum students allowed?: Typically we have a max of 12 students per course and the eLearning program is on demand and can be started anytime by registering for it through our website.
Can I use Dive Zone discount coupons or PickaMix on this course?: Dive Zone and Dive Zone plus members may use their discounts as specified on their membership cards. Customers with PickaMix Vouchers may use them at a rate of one per day. All these are only applicable for the CLASSROOM BASED COURSE ONLY and not eLearning.
What happens if I fail to show up or have to reschedule?: If a student cancels with less than 7 days notice, shows up unprepared, is absent or significantly late, they will have to schedule makeup time with the instructors at a later date, at a rate of $30 per hour.
