Prerequisites
To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must be:
- 15 years or older
- Have a PADI Advanced Open Diver certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)
- Be trained on your first aid and CPR- done within 2 years (Ask your instructor about Emergency First Response CPR and first aid courses).
- Complete the Online Rescue Diver eLearning program
The Scuba Gear You Use
You use all your basic scuba gear including a dive computer and accessories. We give all our students 50% off rental gear when on a course if they require any, plus all your airfills are free.
The Learning Materials You Need
- This course requires you to complete the Padi Rescue Diver eLearning course, you`ll then do the classroom review and the practical skills sessions in open water over two days of diving.
- You may register and pay for the eLearning online
- You also will require some course materials with the eLearning crewpack which includes a pocket mask, Rescue skills slate, and Rescue Diver emblem.
Your Next Adventure
After completing CPR and first aid and the PADI Rescue Diver course, you should take the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider course Together, these three courses round out your ability to handle scuba diver emergencies.
